These Cosmetic Chemicals & others cause various Health Problems
Of particular importance in the health of our immune system are Langerhans immune cells which are programmed in the skin layers (Epidermis) & turn off or turn up immune regulated inflammation. This is possibly a source for Auto Immune diseases such as Arthritis & Lupus.

These potent chemicals could cause immune cell alteration & Cancers. Formaldehyde & Cyanide are used to make a common cosmetic ingredient “EDTA”. Petroleum products such as Petrolatum (Petroleum Jelly, a.k.a. Vaseline®) have a risk for Benzene & PAH contamination. The full extent of long term toxic effects of Bio-Accumulation of these & PFAS are still unknown. Does anyone remember Teflon Coated cook ware? We were all told these PFAS were safe. These are just one type ”Forever Chemicals”commonly found in off the shelf cosmetics.
Long Lists of Ingredients:
Skin care should be focused, not a shotgun of the latest and greatest unproven chemical. Multiple ingredients in a cosmetic reduces the ‘space’ for truly effective ingredients such as vitamins. Trash cans of multiple ingredients is an indicator that each ingredient’s concentration is too low to be effective.
